The Driftscape™ lounge chair and ottoman were made to be used, not babied. Terra Knit fabric carries a built-in stain resistant treatment and a 35,000+ Martindale rub count, so it holds up to daily sitting, lounging, and the occasional spill while keeping its look over time.

Everyday cleaning
The Driftscape™ lounge chair and ottoman are spot clean only. For most messes, blot the spill promptly with a clean, dry cloth, then wipe the area using a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral soap solution. Work in gentle circular motions and let the spot air dry. Quick action keeps spills on the surface where the anti-stain treatment can do its job.

General upkeep
Avoid soaking the fabric, and clean only the affected area rather than the whole piece. A periodic light vacuum with an upholstery attachment helps lift dust and keeps the texture looking fresh.

A few things to avoid
Skip bleach, solvents, and dry-cleaning chemicals, which can damage the fabric and its stain resistant finish. Avoid oversaturating the fabric when cleaning.

Good to know
Terra Knit is rated for strong color fade resistance, even under sustained light exposure, but like any upholstery it is best kept out of constant, direct sunlight to preserve color over the long term. Minor pilling can occur naturally with use and does not indicate a defect.

Big Joe 2-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty*
Big Joe warrants this item against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of delivery when used under normal residential conditions and cared for properly. Covered issues include qualifying defects in items such as seams, stitching, zippers, foam integrity, and other material or workmanship issues.

If this product is specifically labeled fade resistant and UV treated, the Big Joe warranty also includes limited coverage for excessive sun fading during the 2-year warranty period.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover accidental stains or spills, cuts, punctures, pet damage, burns, misuse, improper storage or maintenance, mold or mildew, commercial use, normal wear, or ordinary weathering.

Optional Mulberry Protection Plan*
For extra peace of mind, you can add a Mulberry Protection Plan at checkout. Mulberry helps protect your Big Joe furniture from accidental damage starting on day one. Depending on the plan purchased, Mulberry can also continue covered defect or malfunction protection after the Big Joe manufacturer’s warranty ends.

Covered incidents may include accidental stains and spills, accidental rips and tears, liquid marks and rings, and certain burn or heat marks, subject to the final plan terms. Approved claims have no deductible.

Mulberry does not cover pre-existing damage, theft or loss, damage during delivery, misuse, unauthorized repairs, natural disasters, or normal wear and weather-related deterioration such as prolonged environmental fading, moisture-related deterioration, mold, mildew, or rust, subject to the final plan terms.

 How to file a claim
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, contact Big Joe Support with your proof of purchase and photos of the issue.

If you purchased a Mulberry Protection Plan and need to report accidental damage, file your claim directly through your Mulberry dashboard. Mulberry will review the claim and determine whether repair, replacement, reimbursement, or another resolution applies under the plan.

What does frameless mean, and is it actually sturdy?
Frameless means there is no wood or metal skeleton inside the Driftscape™ lounge chair. The structure comes entirely from the high-density cut foam base, which is engineered to hold its shape and support everyday use without a rigid frame. The result is a chaise lounge chair that is simpler to ship and ready to use the moment it expands, without sacrificing real support.

What is Comfortflow™ technology?
Comfortflow™ technology is a custom blend of cooling gel-infused memory foam and soft fiber, shredded to create natural airflow within the pillow top. The shredded construction allows the pillow top to adapt to your body and breathe, so it stays comfortable over longer sits rather than trapping heat or going flat.

Is the Driftscape™ lounge chair comfortable?
Yes. The Driftscape™ lounge chair is built around a pillow top foam design: a plush Comfortflow™ Cooling Shredded Memory Foam top for a deep seat, sink-in feel, over a high-density cut foam base that keeps you supported instead of swallowed. It stays plush and cool on hour three the same way it does on minute one, which is what makes it a chaise lounger you will not want to leave.

Is it firm or soft?
Both, by design. The pillow-top gives you that breathable, deep-seat, sink-in softness on top, while the high-density base keeps you supported so you never bottom out. It is plush without feeling flat, even after hours in the lounge chair.

Does it stay cool?
Yes. The Comfortflow™ blend is gel-infused and built to breathe, so it resists the warm, trapped feeling you get from traditional solid memory foam.

How long does the foam take to fully expand after unboxing?
The foam base is ready to use almost immediately after unboxing. The Comfortflow™ pillow top typically fluffs to its full shape within a few minutes. We recommend allowing everything 48 hours to reach its full potential, but most customers find the Driftscape™ lounge chair comfortable right out of the box.

Is the Driftscape™ chair good for small spaces?
Yes. Its compact footprint fits perfectly in bedrooms, apartments, and cozy nooks, which makes it a great small space lounge chair or reading chair. Slide the ottoman in when you want a full chaise lounger, or tuck it away to reclaim the floor.
