Not to worry, your Fuf will be full and fluffy in no time! To save space, every Fuf is compressed with a vaccum and put into a box before shipment. Because of this compression process, your Fuf may seem a little lumpy and underfilled when first opened. Not to worry! This is natural, and this is not how your product will look or feel. Please allow 7 days for the Fuf to fully regain all of it’s fluffyness. Pick up the Fuf and toss it around to help air circulate through the memory foam filling. This will speed up the decompression process. Re-Fuf again and again whenever your Fuf is feeling a little lumpy or flat. Detailed instructions on this Fuf’ing process can be found in the box.
Ahhsome Foam Products: Big Joe stands and sits behind all of our products. As long as you have registered the product and are the original owner, you can lounge around assured that when it comes to factory defects we will replace your FUF for up to one year from the date of sale. Of course, if you have too much fun on the product and spill, tear, puncture, or try to float in a pool with it, all we can do is give you a high five for living life to the fullest!
Megahh Bean Products: When it comes to our bean filled products, you can be rest assured that the cover will stand up to unlimited lounging for up to one year. If you have too much fun on it and spill, tear puncture or drag it behind your pick up truck, all bets are off. Also, the beans in the chair will go flat after a while so based on how much fun you have on it, eventually you will have to buy a bag of Big Joe bean refill and bring your chair back to its glory days. If it has gone flat before 90 days, give us a call and we will send you a refill bag on us.
Big Joe’s special formula UltimaX Beans last 20% longer than the competition. We pride ourselves in high quality products and we strive to make our products as durable and well-constructed as possible. Although UltimaX is a superior bean filling, it is an unfortunate fact that beans will compress with use over time. The more usage the bag receives, the faster the beans will compress. We do sell Rejuvenation Packs to help keep your bag lively and refreshed, which can be found on our website and through our retailers. We want you to love your favorite bean-filled Big Joe product and be able to enjoy it for a long time to come. If you believe your bag has become flat unreasonably early, please contact customer service.
Actually, your zipper pull isn’t missing, we have piles and piles of them! For safety and durability reasons, every Comfort Research product includes double zippers. The outside zipper pull is purposely broken off before shipment for child safety. If you need to open your bag for any reason, insert a paperclip into the zipper to act as the zipper pull and pull open. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label at the bottom of the product.
Most Big Joe products with SmartMax, Comfort Suede or Vegan Leather will simply spot clean with water and a damp cloth. For items that include a liner, machine wash cold and hang dry.

We are required by law to charge sales tax on products shipped to those locations where sales taxes are applicable.
Most Big Joe items are filled within 3-5 days of reciept (M-F). Big Joe FUF, Lux and Outdoor items are carefully hand made and filled within 10-14 days of receipt (M-F). All items ship FedEx ground. Customers typically receive their products 5-7 business days after their order is shipped. Once an item ships, a confirmation tracking number is provided.
While cases are extremely rare, damages and defects do happen once in a while during transit to your shipping location. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. Simply refuse delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement. After delivery is refused, we will file a claim and send you a replacement product. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we require that you contact and send us photographs via email within 48 hours, so that we can address and correct the situation and send out a new product. If your item arrives damaged / defective and you do not wish to receive a replacement part or new item you will be responsible for returning the item and a 15% restocking fee.
We certainly hope that you’ll love your Big Joe product the moment you receive it, but if for any reason you don’t contact us for a return authorization within 30 days of purchase. Please note you are responsible for the return shipping and a 15% restocking fee.
